NIS report: Dennis Itumbi holds a certificate in Journalism. His Diploma is fake and he is not qualified to hold his “Director” position
The academic qualifications of Dennis Itumbi have been questioned by the NIS. This is through a report by the Kenya’s intelligence agency which indicates that Itumbi is unfit to hold the position of Director for Digital, New Media and Diaspora Affairs at State House
The confidential report indicates that Itumbi enrolled for a certificate in Journalism course at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication in 2001. While pursuing the certificate course, Itumbi led a student strike and due to his “influence” on the students, he forced the institution’s management to award him a Diploma in broadcast journalism, while he was enrolled to do a certificate course. He also forced the administration to do the same for 50 other studentsThe report by NIS also said Mr Itumbi is a “self-motivated go getter who uses any means at his disposal to get his way”.
Kenyans on social media are already calling him #Dennis Ali Joho
